My second ever attempt at a gradient manicure—and it actually went pretty well!
The base for this one is I Love Nail Polish’s A Few Shah. Then I used another I Love Nail Polish color, Cosmic Barney, for the gradient by painting both A Few Shah and Cosmic Barney onto a makeup wedge and dabbing it on my nails (similar to this method). It took me 3 to 4 dabs on each nail to really get the look I wanted, but I think the end result is definitely worth it!
Everything is topped with a coat of Sally Hansen Dries Instantly. There’s also a coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Flash top coat under there, but it dried weirdly sticky and not at all smooth, even after giving it lots of time to set up. It went on well and I was excited for a new (to me) quick-drying topcoat, but I don’t think I can recommend that one.
